  The 2008 Northwest Open  was sponsored by Miller Brewing Company and Marine View Beverage, Sumner, WA. 

 

Our first shoot of 2008 was held on January 12.  Thanks to everyone who showed up to either shoot or help.  We hope you had fun.  Our next shoot will be September 13, 2008.  This will be a registered shoot and it will be the last one for 2008.  Shooting will begin about 10:00 am.

August 2005 and 2006 Sumner Sportsmen's Association hosted the Washington State Sporting Clays Shoot.  If it hadn't been for these two events our club probably wouldn't be in operation today.  The money we earned at those two shoots helped us through the flood last November.  Thank you to all the shooters who participate in our shoots on a regular basis.

We usually have a registered shoot on the second Saturday of each month from March through August.  We host fun shoots on the second Saturday during January, February, and September.  We encourage all shooters to join the fun.  You need not be a registered shooter with the National Sporting Clays Association  (NSCA) or Washington Sporting Clays Association (WSCA), we welcome hunter class shooters. These Saturday shoots are scheduled to begin at 10 am and occasionally breakfast or lunch is available for purchase.

We will post the scores for our shoots on this website for the 2008 shooting schedule.  The WSCA web site should have our scores posted about a week after the shoot.  For the NSCA website it takes about 2-3 weeks to post the scores from our shoot.  The links page on our website will allow you to access the WSCA and NSCA websites.
