Washington State Sporting Clays
SSA hosted the Washington State Sporting Clays Shoot August 2005.
There was committee that helped organize sponsors and acquire prizes for
shooters. Kelly Morgan wrote a computer program to keep track of shooter's
scores, and pre-squad requests. Jim Darby set the targets for the course,
Randy Chandler prepared the grounds for the course, and Debby Anex cashiered the
shoot and did the record keeping. During the shoot several other board
members helped make sure things were running smoothly. Gary Wofford from
the Bonney Lake Tavern (BLT) brought a beer wagon for concession. The
dinner on Saturday night of the shoot was provided by Brank's BBQ. There
were silent auction items to help raise money.
SSA hosted the Washington State Sporting Clays Shoot August 2006. The
committee helped organize sponsors. Kim Burlison was the cashier for the
shoot. She handled all the pre-squad requests. Her husband, John,
helped by bringing machines and helping set the course. Many of our board
members were there to help the shoot run smoothly. The dinner was catered again
by Brank's BBQ.
